On 27th March 2023, OASIS will join with Reena, Community Living Toronto, the Intentional Community Consortium (ICC) and the Provincial Network for a Lobby Day on Parliament Hill in Ottawa. The day will be focused on the National Housing Strategy, and increasing supportive housing for those with developmental disabilities across Canada.
We will hear from member organisations on their success stories and current challeges related to housing. We will also hear from Members of Parliament, from all parties, on how we can help each other to increase housing for those we support.
Itinerary for the Day (Not Final):
- 10AM-4PM – Discussions, updates amongst ourselves, M.P.s and CMHC
- 2PM – 3PM – Attending Question Period
- 5PM– 7PM – Reception Parliament Hill
