Ontario Agencies Supporting Individuals with Special Needs (OASIS) is seeking experienced leaders from outside the developmental services (DS) sector to join its Board of Directors & Committees.
Why Join? OASIS is committed to improving outcomes for people with IDD by strengthening the capacity of service agencies and influencing system-wide improvements.
What We’re Looking For OASIS seeks board and committee members to drive strategic governance, financial oversight, and stakeholder relations. They aim to enhance services for individuals with IDD through cross-sector collaboration and system-wide improvements. Professionals with expertise in policy, health, education, governance, finance, equity, and advocacy are encouraged to apply.
The commitment:
- Attend eight annual Board/Committee meetings and member meetings (virtual and in-person options, 80% attendance required).
- Serve a three-year term, renewable once.
- Engage in committee work and Board-led initiatives that align with your expertise and interests.
