Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator provides key administrative support and coordination of all full cycle Human Resources processes and programs, including, but not limited to, Recruitment and Selection, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Training and Development, Health and Safety, Planning, Employee Relations, Systems Administration and Compliance. The Human Resources Coordinator works collaboratively with the Human Resources Manager to provide support and service that contributes to a positive employee experience.

The ideal candidate will be career minded, and excited about opportunities for personal and professional development and learning within the sector. They will possess a positive attitude and a flexible approach while working collaboratively, and as part of a team, in our fast paced, service oriented environment. Maintaining high levels of confidentiality around employee, person supported and business related matters will be second nature, as will be proven time management and organizational skills. The Human Resources Coordinator will have outstanding organizational, written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and problem solve while managing competing priorities with initiative and independence. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.

This position is full time (35 hours per week), permanent, in office and pays a starting rate of $25.19/hour, plus benefits, and opportunities for professional development and learning.

Previous experience working in a non-profit in the Developmental Sector is also an asset
